2027 Medicare Carrier Certifications

In order to be compliant in selling Medicare Advantage and/or Part D plans, insurance agents must certify with each insurance carrier prior to selling their products. The certifications for most carriers will open in the summer prior to AEP. Please refer to the below table to find each when carrier's certifications open and the link to their certification sites.

The following business day after transmitting your scores from AHIP to Florida Blue, you will be able to access and complete the 2027 Certification.

  1. Log in to HFB and click on Medicare Producers' University from the Tools menu. You'll be signed in automatically.
  2. Complete all required training on your learning track or use our test-out option.
  3. Complete your Medicare Basics Certification using one of these options:
    1. Complete your AHIP certification
    2. Or upload a certificate from NABIP
  4. Check My Transcript to confirm all required trainings are 100% complete.

You cannot transfer your AHIP score to Humana outside of your certification.  You must start your certification, and it will pull the score over in the process.

If you haven't started your AHIP or NABIP yet and want to access them through your Humana certification, you will receive a discount on the cost.

During certification it will have modules on AHIP or NABIP - you only have to complete the module for the one that applies.  You can skip the other one.

  1. Please login to your AHIP account.
  2. If you come to the “Site License Confirmation Page” please continue, you will be directed to Health Partners Plans (Jefferson Health Plans)  site.
  3. Please Scroll to the bottom of your dashboard page, Under the header AHIP Course Completion you should see Health Partners Plans(HPP) Transmit. Please transmit your scores.

If you do not see Health Partners Plans listed, please try clearing your browser history/cache and try again.

Brokers must first complete the 2027 AHIP.

  1. Login to the Evolve broker portal.

    1. You must already be active in Evolve. If you are not yet active, please contact your upline for an invitation or call Broker Services.

  2. Select the My Credentials link on the left-side menu.

  3. Select the My Onboarding Cases link. You will see a link to start the 2027 Medicare Advantage Training.

  4. Once you click on the link, the 2027 certification module will start. You must finish it prior to 10/01/2026.

If you have to leave the module for any reason, your progress will be saved and you will be able to log back in to complete it later, without having to start from the beginning.
